In reply to: [Graphy] After changing Header PIcture – its lost!I’m having the same problem. I can add the header, but it doesn’t show. I’ve tried chrome and firefox.
I found the problem, but I still can’t fix it. For some reason, it takes about 24 hours for my css to update in the browser. I cleared the cashe, I cleared the router cashe, I restarted my computer, I repaired permissions, reloaded the css to the host, etc. I contacted the host and they say they can see the headers. I can now because it’s been a day. But that makes it extremely difficult to tweak the css.
I just received this email from someone trying to help:
“If an image isn’t showing up, it’s definitely a broken file path. When working on the server, open a browser window and get that image to load by literally entering it’s full file path in the URL bar. If that shows the image properly, you know for sure you can use that URL in the CSS file or <img src=””> to make that image display.”
I did that and the url works…exactly how I have it in the css file. Yet, it still doesn’t load.
I’ve never had this problem before. It must be something in wordpress. This is my first wordpress site. I’ve done a few other sites before but they were all static.
I’m not using MAMP now. I’m live. So I am using the actual hosting server.
I’ve read that article at least four times and I can’t find anything that I am doing incorrectly.
