I thought about MAMP. I have downloaded it. Though does MAMP offer the database with wordpress?
Yes it is a possibility.
Did you try Menus –> Change role back to author
Then try changing your administrative account password, hosting control panel password, FTP password, and all email account passwords related to the website.

Yes, In Menus only uncheck those that you don’t want to display. This won’t delete your pages unless you go in pages and delete them separately.

Did you try going to Wpadmin –> appearance–> Menus and then unchecking those other default pages.
