If you registered a new domain, it can take about 48 hours to update the nameservers.
Also, did you type that domain into the specific fields in the WP-Backend (or database)?
If so and you didn´t get an error-message, just wait. As your problem occured 6 days ago, it would be nice to update us if it worked.
