Hi @danielammirati,
The public compliance test you are using from the front page of our website, does not consider your actual configuration in Cookiebot. This is because Cookiebot do not provide your settings to the public and therefore the compliance test scanner will not be informed that you have made these manual classifications.
If you have made the necessary changes in your Cookiebot configuration, those will apply to your website, no matter what the public test states.Regards,
MartinHi @danielammirati,
You have selected “Explicit consent”, which means that the dialog will keep appearing until the user accepts/declines the cookies. But without implementing the prior consent you won’t be compliant to GDPR.
You need to find out which scripts are setting these cookies and add prior consent to them. You can follow step 3 here for implementing prior consent:

MartinHi @batruit,
I don’t know what you mean. If you be more specific we could try and help you if you have issue. Cookiebot does come with a free plan which you need to have only 1 domain and under 100 pages in order to be eligible for it.

Hi tonyteparle,
You should find the script that sets “qtranslatex” and add prior consent to it as described in step 3 of the implementation guide: https://www.cookiebot.com/en/help/

MartinHi lauratraveler,
As Cookiebot’s answer above, if you are not using GA for marketing, it is not necessary to mark it as such. If your implementation is correct you should be fine.
You can always do a manual check on what cookies are loaded and see for yourself if changes to the implementation of prior consent are needed. You can read more about it here: https://support.cookiebot.com/hc/en-us/articles/360004104033-What-does-prior-consent-mean-and-how-do-I-implement-it-

MartinHi Danielammirati,
You don’t have to delete the cookie. In the next automatic re-scan if it’s not used it won’t show. If you are sure that the cookie is not used you can do a manual re-scan.
You should classify the unclassified cookie and if you have implemented the prior consent properly as in the installation guide is shown, you should not have problem.

MartinHey Davido,
The plugin works just fine. When you have not accepted any cookies than the link “Withdraw your consent” is not visible, because there is nothing available to withdraw.
When you accept “statistics” for example than the link appears and when you click it, it will remove all your consent and disappear again.
Regards,
Martin
