Well, obviously the lack of comments said it all!
Anyhow, I was able to fix it:
– I made sure that I had a complete copy of the page with an issue
– Using phpMyAdmin, I searched the WP database and removed every instance of the page
– Then I re-created the page, AND IT WORKED! 🙂
I tried that. Nope. Still the same. Actually, at first, when I created a new page and went to view it, it displayed ‘page not found’ with an inactive theme so I moved all the other themes out.
