Same here. Ran P3 (Plugin Performance Profiler) and this plugin was identified as causing the most trouble with performance. I want to serve the entire site via HTTPS, and while this plugin makes that very easy, the performance losses are weighing in pretty heavily.
I’m looking for alternative options as well.
I’m running into the same issue. I’m moving my content from a wordpress.com hosted blog to a self-hosted WP install at godaddy.com. I have successfully imported content into the self-hosted site if I specify a “smaller” selection of content and media. However, if I export All Content and try to import this, I receive an “Internal Server Error” after approximately 120 seconds.
I’ve worked with GoDaddy to change some of the timeout settings, but to no avail.
Has anyone successfully used the Import/Export tools in a similar scenario?
