In reply to: [Powen Lite] No sidebar wordpressHello,
I was also looking to have full-width posts, but to keep the sidebar on the other pages. Shouldn’t there be a way to hide the widget area with CSS?

In reply to: [Powen Lite] Powen Theme – Menu not displayingWorked around the problem and opted for a different display for my site.
Hi Chrystl,
Where is that option “Show all languages?” I can’t find it.
As of now, what I meant is that when I create the menu, I can only drag and drop the “French” pages to the English menu. This might be because I set French as the primary language of Polylang. But this is also true for the home and about pages as well, yet they display fine (and don’t reset the site language in French when they open).
Also, last time when I deactivated Polylang, I was able to put the Blog-en page in the English menu. However, the plage was pretty much blank. That might have something to do with the theme itself (although the English blog page can be displayed when Polylang is activated!) See here the French page in the CMS, and the English one
I’m afraid that can’t work. I can only add the French page to the menu, as shown on this screen cap.
The English blog page can be displayed nonetheless, but the users have to click on the language switcher once they land on the French page. So, the page is there, but users just can’t navigate through my site in English only.
Okay. Imagine you’re on the website (travelblaug.com) and land on the English home page. You should see this.
Then you decide to go on the “Blog” page. Instead of seeing the page in English as it should you end up seeing the blog page in French. Which shouldn’t happen, because if you’re seeing the front page in English, you’d expect to read the blog and the “About” page in English, not in French.
However, if you’re on the French Blog page, and then click on the language switcher in the menu, the page will then display properly in English as it should.
In the Polylang options, I unchecked the option to set the site’s language according to the user’s browser options. I also tried to look at my site on different browsers, while also being logged out of WordPress, but the problem persists.
I hope this helps!

Sorry about that. Here are the screen captures. I also included the “All slides” list.

In reply to: [Polylang] Polylang – Front page slides won't translateHi,
Here are link to the screen captures. The text is the same because no matter how I save it, the latest saved caption is automatically copied on the other slide.
