I found a solution to this and added the answer on The Associator
damn i got it to work, was indeed a small setting in the plugin that needed changing. I also installed the WP mail SMTP plugin and that work co-operatively.
So ppl, got problems with your form.
First install WP mail SMTP plugin and align your contact form pluging with it!

I am having the same problem using any contact form. It says sent but the content does not come through.
New user registrations do come through.
Nevermind, just changed the design
I would go for another theme if I were you
