By using this plugin, you cannot purchase a subscription product as guest. As some recurring billing detail are stored in respective to an user account.

Manually update the main order to ‘complete’ and then update the subscription status to ‘active’ will work for this case. We will let you know if we are doing any updates regarding PayPal standard.

The status of the subscription will change to active only if the parent order is in processing/complete state. So if you change the status of the subscription to active when the parent order has not been processed/completed, the status of the subscription will not change from “on-hold”.
Subscriptions for WooCommerce plugin is not a 100% compatible with Standard PayPal at the moment (PayPal will automatically handle the recurring payment). We recommend using BrainTree PayPal.

It seems like that specific subscription has missed some of it’s properties while creating the subscription, we will check this in more detail. For time being please check by deleting subscription order(#6738)

Using this plugin, only simple subscription product is possible.
You can check the workflow by installing the plugin and let us know if you find any difficulties in the flow.
