Hi Hesadanza,
I’ve seen you post about strange issues with this particular footnotes plugin.
We’ve coded a new footnotes plugin from scratch to address a lot of issues that existing footnotes plugins had/have and are working hard to give everyone a trouble-free footnotes experience.
You could check out, if our plugin solves your issue with 93 and more footnotes…https://wordpress.org/plugins/footnotes/

In reply to: [WP-Footnotes] Change font size of footnote number?Hi mmallett,
we created a new footnotes plugin from scratch that has settings to change the appearance of the superscript. Also we have custom CSS so you can change the styling of your superscript to anything you’d like.

In reply to: [WP-Footnotes] Somes footnotes work. Others don't.Ho Josbarrios,
since the developer didn’t update the plugin or responded to any support thready in the last 3 years, I’m guessing, there’ll be no answer from the developer’s side.
2 quick things, though.
Firstly. I browsed the page you linked and all footnotes seem to be working fine.
Secondly. We wrote a footnotes plugin from scratch to address a lot of issues we had with other footnotes plugins you might as well give that a shot. And Yes, it’s compatible with all your current footnotes, as the syntax for marking footnotes is customizable.

In reply to: [footnotes] Footnote PositionOK. So what’s bothering you then?
You can always change the styling of the footnotes with our Custom CSS feature.
Hi 1a-spielewiese,
it’s a little hard to understand what you mean.
Do you mean the collapsing of the footnotes list by default? We will change the behavior of these hyperlink jumps in the near future so it may be best to wait for a new release and try again if it works then?!

In reply to: [footnotes] Footnote PositionUsing superscript in superscript and putting it in one hight-level defeats the second use of superscript in itself, right?
It’s really an astronomical issue to have…Since our footnotes plugin produces superscript tags and numbers the footnotes it produces, you don’t have to and shouldn’t use supersscript (=) tags.

In reply to: [footnotes] Not working properly with WP 4.0Hi Mr. Di Rogers,
we’ve published a new version of the plugin and did some major changes to the way the reference container is represented.
Please update and test again. If it still doesn’t work, please paste the output of the diagnostics section here in the forum.
In the meantime, while hoping for the best, I’ll mark this as resolved.
