Easy answer, delete the website entirely and start over again with a different hosting company guaranteeing a new fresh cPanel.
Okay no need for any replies, no help from Hostgator either, after many years with them, I just canceled my account with them to switch out to another non-EIG hosting company with better support.
At least with another hosting company, I can start this website over from scratch and not touch Better WP Security with a bargepole ever again. Least this way I can have everything running back up to speed relatively quickly with nothing interrupting the code on the server.
