In reply to: Changing the Length of the Menu BarHi,
I solved the issue by nesting some pages under others. The site makes a lot more sense now too 🙂
Thanks a lot,
Kind regards,

In reply to: Changing the Length of the Menu BarHi,
Thanks for the reply!
My site isn’t live yet, but here’s a link to a page with almost identical setup:
https://demo.woothemes.com/wootique/
As you can see, there are considerable margins on the left and the right of the page. This page only has 5 pages listed in the menu, so no problem for them. But depending on how long the name of the pages is, 8 or 9 is the maximum amount of pages before the menu start putting these pages on a second row… And I need 10…
Thanks a lot,
kind regards,

In reply to: Refreshing PermalinksHi,
I changed the structure back to date and name. So far, everything still works fine!
Thanks a lot,

MariusHi again,
I took the risk of changing the permalink structure to day and name, and now it works..; Weird stuff, but it works!
Thanks a lot,
kind regards,
MariusI uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin. I put the previously generated Donation success, failure ans history pages in the trash, but upon reinstalling, the plugin did not regenerate these pages. Also my previously published form was still in it’s list. So it did not remove everything. Also, again, the form returned the same error…
Please help,
Thanks a lot,
Kind regards,
MariusHi again,
I refreshed the permalinks I didn’t update the structure to the date and name, just kept it at “custom”. But the error remains. The form still tries to find this page:https://mydomain.eu/donate/?payment-mode=paypal
Eventhough the structure of my pages is nothing like that. Is it safe to uninstall the plugin and reinstall it? Because I think, somehow the plugin doesn’t know what the structure of my pages looks like… I started building the site using the date and name structure and installed Give, but then I changed hosts and the new host migrated my site to their servers. I just kept building, and didn’t check the permalink structure. But for some reason they changed it to custom. I don’t think the plugin took that change very wel…
Thanks alot,
Kind regards,

In reply to: Refreshing PermalinksOther question too: I have a number of links on my site, linking to the different pages of it… Will all these links still work after I change the structure?
Thanks a lot,
Kind regards,

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Post on HomepageYes, sorry! Here’s what I did:
If you log in to the dashboard and then go to the homepage of your site (in a different tab maybe) you can click on the customize button on the top of the screen. Once you’ve done that, you can choose the Static Front Page button on the left hand menu. there you can change the setting from “Your latest post” to “static page”. In order to get the homepage to look exactly like I wanted it, I created an extra page (I called it “Welcome”) and gave it the content I wanted. If you do that, you can then choose that custom made page from the drop down in that static page menu, from the “front page” drop down. leave the “post page” menu alone. That changes your homepage to a static page. The only thing missing from my custom made homepage is a widget to show latest or featured products from my store. Can that be added somehow?
Thanks a lot,

In reply to: Refreshing PermalinksThanks for the reply!
What does that mean exactly? They have to go back to my homepage and manually browse to the link themselves or …?
Thanks a lot,
kind regards,
MariusOther question before I refresh my permalinks. If I do that, can I change from one type to another? I’ve seen that now, my site has a custom structure, but I would like to change that to day and name. Can I do that and then save changes without breaking my site?
Thanks a lot,

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Post on HomepageNever mind!
i figured it out!
Kind regards,
MariusQuick and maybe silly question, but is everything set up right?
I installed the plugin and made the form. That’s it. Nothing else.
Is that enough or did I miss something(s) to make it work?
Thanks a lot,
Kind regards,
MariusThanks for sticking with this. Upon checking in closer detail I did make the Donate page myself… But that means I’m back at square one. I have alle the necessary pages, the shortcode is embedded on a page, but when trying to check out, the mydomain/donate page cannot be found… It’s this page it’s looking for:
https://mydomain.eu/donate/?payment-mode=paypal
Thanks a lot,
kind regards,
MariusOk, So I take the donate shortcode out of the donate page that Give created, create a new Donate page manually using the pages, add new menu, put the shortcode there and then delete the originial (now blank) donate page that Give created upon installation and I ruined by putting my shortcode there?
Sorry to double check but it’s a bit confusing for me now…
Thanks a lot,
Marius
