thanks for your reply (no worries about the delay, it’s totally understandable that it took a bit, especially after a major release) and thanks for the hint to dequeue the script. It took me a moment to find the script name but I’ve found it.
I think it would be great if the script would not be enqueued if Enable Maps is disabled. Maybe you add this in a future update.
