Thanks for the replies. Just in case anyone else encounters such a problem, I managed to fix it: There was a problem with IPv6 domains in my girlfriend’s network, so basically turning off IPv6 at her OS fixed the problem.
Here is an update: My girlfriend can access /wp-admin/ from her university network with the very same Netbook that she used from her home (back when it did not work).
That does not really make sense to me. 😮
And thoughts?
