Sorted, since I hadn’t used pretty permalinks so there was no .htaccess (I hope/think) or web.config?
Either way it’s working now, unless the blog shouldn’t still be visible at url/wordpress

I downloaded filezilla and I can’t find any option to show hidden files (even though I read somewhere that it was as simple as view-show hidden files)
