I actually went and found the line of code that forces the variable to be lowercase and removed it, which I know will be overwritten in the next update. So I guess my question/feedback request at this point is:
1) Why force them to be lowercase at all? and
2) Please consider removing this (extremely, extremely frustrating) “feature” from the variables so I don’t have to modify it myself
