    Some more bugs in 2.7.0:

    • Unable to save settings for any lightbox (settings reset when trying to save).
    • In the main settings section, several options are missing a “value” field, which is why they don’t save.
    <select id="rl-settings-image-title" name="responsive_lightbox_settings[image_title]">
    <option value="">Brak</option>
    <option value="default" selected="selected">Attachment Title</option>
    <option value="title">Tytuł obrazka</option>
    <option value="caption">Podpis obrazka</option>
    <option value="alt">Tekst alternatywny obrazka</option>
    <option value="description">Opis obrazka</option>
    </select>

    For now I’m going back to version 2.6.1

    It turned out that the problem only occurs in Firefox browser, switching to Chrome solved the issue.

    Hi Jaideep,

    I’ve tried this before and it doesn’t work.

    It seems that after enabling React Settings UI, the Video Sitemap settings page is not available at all (even when I go to the main Sitemap settings, the Video Sitemap options are not visible).

    Yes, it works perfectly, thank you! 🙂

    Or better this one, in that case you don’t need “Add links below the embedded videos” to be enabled:

    $lytelinks_txt = '<div class="lL" style="max-width:100%;width:' . $lyteSettings[2] . 'px;' . $lyteSettings['pos'] .'"></div>';

    to his one:

    $lytelinks_txt = '<div class="lL" style="max-width:100%;width:' . $lyteSettings[2] . 'px;' . $lyteSettings['pos'] .'">' . '<div style="display:none!important;">' . __( '' . $lyteSettings['scheme'] . '://www.youtube.com/watch?v=' . $vid . '', 'wp-youtube-lyte' ) . '</div></div>';

    And I meant “display:none”, not “disable:none” – sorry for that. This modification do the trick for me. Could you check if this don’t “break” anything? I tested it a few minutes ago.

    In wp-youtube-lyte.php I changed this code:

    $lytelinks_txt = '<div class="lL" style="max-width:100%;width:' . $lyteSettings[2] . 'px;' . $lyteSettings['pos'] . '">' . ' <a href="' . $lyteSettings['scheme'] . '://youtu.be/' . $vid . '" target="_blank">' . __( 'Watch this video on YouTube', 'wp-youtube-lyte' ) . '</a>.</div>';

    to this one:

    $lytelinks_txt = '<div class="lL" style="display:none!important;">' . __( '' . $lyteSettings['scheme'] . '://www.youtube.com/watch?v=' . $vid . '', 'wp-youtube-lyte' ) . '</div>';

    so what would be the difference with “Add links below the embedded videos” which is inside a div with class lL?

    Because then the link is like this “Watch this video on YouTube”, and is not recognized by Rank Math.

    For it to work, the link should look like this https://www.youtube.*****

    (@makabe)

    Thanks! 🙂 I have one more idea.

    In order for Rank Math to generate Video Schema and add it to Sitemap, there must be a direct link to YouTube video in the post content. Maybe it would be enough to add a link with a specific class under each Lyte placeholder, and then set “disable: none” to it. I have tested it now and it seems to work.

    Unfortunately yes, I checked all the options on and off (even “Add links below the embedded videos”).

    I would like to clarify that I am not looking to disable the microdata feature, as I am aware of how to do that in the WP YouTube Lyte settings. What I am searching for is a way to filter or exclude only specific elements from the Video Schema generation output.

    I appreciate your help, but I will handle it myself from here. Thanks again!

    Thread Starter makabe

    (@makabe)

    Yes, sorry for the trouble. The problem is caused by the WP YouTube Lyte plugin with “Add microdata” option enabled (to fully enable this feature you will need a YouTube API key.).

    It creates meta tags with YouTube video description and therefore an additional Video Schema tags and thumbnails are created. Here is the source code from the post.

    Is there any way to exclude the content of meta itemprop=”description” from generating Video Schema and Video Sitemap thumbnails? Maybe you can implement it in the next update? 🙂

    If you configure your permalink structure to include categories (for example, “/category/post-name/”), the BreadcrumbList schema will automatically include it as well.

    Why would I change my link structure for this? Other SEO plugins don’t require this.

    Anyway, thanks for the information, I will switch to another plugin.

    Hi,

    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/it-is-not-work-on-some-post/

    Just remove a quote mark (“) from the post title and everything should work again.

    Hi Lukasz,

    same error here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cant-vote-if-there-is-a-special-character-in-the-title/

    Just remove a quote mark (“) from the post title and everything will work.

    PS. To jakiś bug związany z tytułem wpisów – jak w tytule jest cudzysłów, to wtyczka wywala błąd zapisu do bazy i nie działa. Usunięcie “” z tytułu rozwiązuje problem.
