In reply to: jQuery problemI don’t really know what happened but it works now. All I did I moved my files back to wp-content after they started working in the home folder (which is one level higher). I didn’t change a slight bit in the code including paths.
Maybe there’s a bug in Firefox or whatever. Thanks for all the answers.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: The way to protect WP site from hackingYes, I did exactly what you said. To change permissions of all the files in a directory, I had to use shell commands, since clicking each file would take forever.

In reply to: The way to protect WP site from hackingI did, although I posted this question before I found the article you mentioned.

In reply to: Image links with transparent backgroundOk, I decided to switch to another image editor and it started working. But even now, not all WP themes detect the transparency. Well, at least some of them do.

In reply to: Image links with transparent background@cadic,
I’ve been using PNG since the very beginning.@alchymyth,
I’m developing locally on my WAMP server since there’s no internet on my machine. I’m typing to this thread from another one. So I doubt I can show you any of that.
I tried three themes, of which two I remember : abcOK (by SQLS) and BusinessWriter ( by Anonymous).Maybe I forgot to mention, but I need the LINKS (which are in form of images) to have transparent backgrounds. The images themeselves, when opened in full-size mode in another window by following those links, will be OK since I use white background by default.
