In reply to: Problem with Injected Links on Some Posts (not all)One of the first links I hit up.
On the topic of FTP, there’s some smoke that it may have been the route (or at least my best guess). Only one FTP connection was made according to my logs back in September and it had some fun with the header.php in the Sundance theme (the one I was using).
Thanks for your help with this!

In reply to: Problem with Injected Links on Some Posts (not all)I’d turned off every plugin to no avail, but didn’t think to change the theme and that seemed to do the trick.
So.. should I stay away from that theme altogether (it was an Automattic one from the repository) or you figure I’m safe with a fresh install? And I’m guessing my next step is to also change my FTP passwords too, eh?

In reply to: Fatal Error in PermalinksI tried to narrow it down to a plugin, but there was present even with all enabled and all disabled. Although I had recently upgraded to 2.3.3 when the problem was first noticed, I can’t guarantee the problem didn’t exist beforehand.
Anywho, I’ve actually done a complete reinstall which has solved the problem so I’m not sure what was wrong.

In reply to: What is this theme ?I’m pretty sure Matt did the site on his own (but I’ve been known to make broad assumptions from time-to-time).
Are you thinking of Kiwi?

In reply to: update-links error messageThanks for the info. As this was the first time I had setup something like this… wasn’t too sure what was causing the problem (especially with the two different errors).

In reply to: Blogrolling in a ListIt’s the ability to know which links have updated. I would use the built-in option, but don’t know of a way to show the links updating (outside of a CRON job that I’ve read of before here… but don’t have the ability to set one up).

In reply to: Reinvigorate Clone? My host doesn’t have such things.. but then.. I don’t complain much about the “free” aspect of it.
That’s why reinvigorate was so handy.

In reply to: Reinvigorate Clone? As podz has said, reinvigorate was a free, web-based program that kept a variety of statistics of what came through your site. Unfortunately, it has been down for quite some time, although the page you find at http://www.reinvigorate.net/ states it will come back soon (and has been saying this for about 2 or 3 months now).

In reply to: Error on Update LinkrollNot sure if this is the best way to solve the problem, but I found that what I got off the repository had “|” placed throughout, so I simply replaced the code with essentially the same from http://carthik.net/wpplugins/updatelinkroll.phps.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t get it to work much past that… something I feel may be due to the changes in 1.5… but then… I don’t know much. It had issues finding links-update-xml.php which I notice doesn’t exist any longer.

In reply to: Newb Installation IssuesEssentially the second error was created by a whitespace at the end of the wp-config.php. I modified it in notepad and then uploaded the correct version. Did the trick.

In reply to: Posting ProblemsThanks. Now with that issue dealt with, any way to have the posts show up at http://www.lyteforce.ca/index.php as opposed to the current solution?
