Posting Problems

Not too sure how to describe the problem, but here goes:
I believe everything has been installed correctly, however, none of the posts that I create actually get published. For the life of me, I can’t figure the problem out. WordPress shows the post.. but my site does not.
Any ideas? As I said, not entirely sure how to ask the question..
