I use the expensive way: Buy photoshop, make a screenshot and load it in photoshop. 😉

You might install wp-backup (a plugin) which allows to input mysql-dumps if it is placed in the backup-folder you need for it. Read the txt-file of the plugin for more information!
Well, I never had such problems on my server, but I read WP-Cache (there’s a V2 out now) would solve the traffic thing. Unfortunatly the statistics like stattraq wont work properly. But godsake we have Google Analytics for this crap. 😉
