  • I second this. However, the best would be if WordPress could do fine with 8M, as people with cheap webhotels (like me) aren’t allowed to set the limit above 8M.

    Btw. WordPress upgraded fine with my 8M limit, but I guess it depends on the ammount of userdata in some way.

    The same happened to me (I upgraded yesterday):

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 77824 bytes) in /usr/home/web/wno76445/danmichael/wp-content/plugins/SK2/sk2_plugins/sk2_rbl_plugin.php on line 327

    I guess this might only occur on low-cost web hotels with 8 mb memory limit, but still, 8 mb should be enough, so I think this is an issue.
