Just a last question (hoping that is not a stupid question)…..

If I use the woocommerce plugin, do I have to create again pages to show my products?

With my Virtue theme, I have already created a portfolio(divided by year of creation. So when I click on a year I have all the photos for that year , than I click on a photo and I am directed to that item shown with a slideshow, full description, price and eventually a Paypal button buy now…
My site is bilingual so I had to do it twice already…I just want to know if I use the woocommerce plugin, will I have to do that again or I can continue to use my great virtue portfolio?

In fact with Virtue theme, I have already a portfolio to show my products, so I don’t need a boutique. (I don’t have a lot of creations for sale)
and I will use Paypal for facturation with the button “buy now”….

My plugin, right now are: Pinnacle toolkit, Polylang, Contact form7, Really Simple CAPTCHA

Is there a free plugin that would be the solution ?

I talk to Paypal today and they said that their button do only the basic (flat rate or % of the total amount) they were talking about “logiciel” like Prestashop and others that they were compatible with Paypal…
I do not know much about woocommerce …do they have plugin that I could use?

Sorry if you misunderstood me…
I was not looking for host names

I was looking more for info about minimum amount needed to run correctly a basic site for p.ex. disk space, memory script etc…
I knew that I would go for a shared hosting
But when I look for more info about ex memory, disk space etc some site put it in MO other in GO etc and I cannot compare not knowing the difference…

This is my very first website so I do not know what would be a “good” minimum of memory or space disk to add plugins, photos etc wihtout having to upgrade in a few month

I am really sorry, I do not want to waste your time ( I find you very generous to try to help) but I don’t even know how to do what you are asking….I am a beginner and I do not understand much….

I think that I am going just delete that plugin and try to find another way to make my site bilingual…..

I contacted my host….waiting for an answer…

If I install a new plugin for a contact form….
How do I delete my current contact form…..it was not a plugin, it was included with the theme. I had only to choose the model of page in the <attributs de la page and model>
Would I just “un-click” the contact model ?

Because if I have to “play” in the code….I’m done….

If yes: where exactly in my FTP ?
Because my free host limits a lot my space so I am not sure that it would be installed otherwise….

May I ask a beginner question, about what you wrote earlier?
Why my stp mail server would not be set up ?
It was working OK 2 weeks ago,(I did received my test-message, in my spam section, but I did received them OK) than I got a WSOD after a tentative of update, I reinstalled my theme (manually) and all the rest works OK now.

What I posted is what I read when I go to my Cpanel of my host…..It is also written that they update the info every 24hours.

Unless I copy the wrong info for php settings ….(went on media/add (where I upload my photos for my site, then scroll down….and copy)

I did re-install my free version of Virtue (manually) it worked OK
I did re-install the plugin toolkit ( I had to delete all the plugins not used to find some memory space) but it finally worked OK

I got back my site almost completely
in fact it is the portfolio section that has been affected;
I lost the links between my portfolio grind photos and some of their items (when I click on a photo it is said “page not found”)
I also lost the images carousel ( link ? ) that I had made so when I click on 1 item, I can see more photos of the item.

So it is not so bad. I will try to find a solution for those problems.
And for the futur…I plan to learn how to do manual update…..

Thank you very much for your help James,

I did go in my FTP/distant site section/upper window of that section/public_html/wp-content/theme/renamed virtue

Underneath there was also a file named upgrade/ virtue.tmp
I did also renamed that file virtue.tmp
Went on my site dash board/refresh it: still white screen

I must miss something but I do not know what……

I am a real beginner so ……..
I decided to go to my site dash board/ apparence/theme/ and just activated a defaut theme there….I am not happy with that theme because it is very limited as possibilities and I did loose a lot of hard work done on virtue but I am very limited with my knowledge (about how to deal with those technical issues)
