Thanks Chip – I was following the steps below: under ‘dashboard’ ‘pages’ ‘edit page’ on the right under ‘page attributes’ there is a page template ‘sidebar template’ available which has a sidebar on a static page.
However there is no ‘sidebar template’ option to select.
