This was enough for me because i got the same solution without installing additional components =)
I just uninstall Success Page Redirect plugin and use this solution and it’s works fine for me.

I have exactly the same problem and I have not found any solution to it.

Poedit makes two files and even transfer them to the server, so the language does not change.
Did i do something wrong?
