In reply to: feature image confusionOh…I had no idea! So just to be clear, I can’t post questions on this forum even though my parent theme is genesis and I have a wordpress.org blog? That doesn’t seem quite right to me. Aren’t there situations that I could still receive assistance about from you and if it seems to be an issue that is dependent on my particular child theme I could just be told that I need to check with the developer about that question? I would imagine that many questions I have could still be troubleshooted here, since I have found answers to pretty much every question I’ve had before now by searching this forum…

In reply to: won't let me edit postoh good grief. now i’m pulling my hair out. i’ve edited each post (except my one real post) to delete images, delete titles, delete tags, delete the old slug, and replace the content with a period, but the live page is a mess. it’s not reflecting many of the changes. still showing images, and it’s displaying some bizarre text in the content boxes. arrrrggg.

In reply to: won't let me edit postupdate: in the meantime, it is letting me update the posts with just a period for the title and a period for the content (does it maybe not let you publish empty posts?) so i’m doing that for the moment.

the mysterious white bar at the top of my image was definitely causing a problem and i had no idea it was there. thank you! and that margin tweak was very helpful.
there was definitely some sort of glitch happening with my image alignment last night and this morning… i kept futzing around with deleting the image, checking the live page, re-inserting it, checking again, changing the alignment from left to right to center, and most of the time the live page did not reflect any changes, while the preview was correct. it would randomly work about one in five times. so odd. all of a sudden now it’s behaving normally. crossing fingers that the bug has worked itself out? i was starting to worry that i had done something awful with my style sheet at some point and messed everything up.
anyway, thanks so much for your assistance. greatly appreciated. 🙂
