I have added the text in the correct place, as indicated in the tutorial given by onedesigns (the theme designer) and turned on or off etc everything as indicated in their guide.
Onedesigns seem to have gone ‘dead’ – no replies to queries, so I’m hoping people out here have a solution or suggestion for why following the instructions don’t get the end result. e.g. another plugin or widget which conflicts.

Try asking someone else to open your page on their computer or phone, and it will either be blank, or show their email instead.
