The problem is solved now on my end. But you might want to take a look at this bug.
The problem was fixed once I changed the colors of the elements in the box.
As long as I left the default colors, the subscription did not work.A different unrelated question:

Hi, Great plugin! I love it.
But…
I have the same problem. After user subscribed in the light-box, he doen’t get an email (for double optin) and MailChimp doesn’t get the email address.
So basically, the subscription doesn’t work…Please help.
