I also have this same problem with just LinkedIn. I posted this in the “LinkedIn registration error” thread, but perhaps that’s not the best description of the problem. I have used the debug module, which tells me everything is just fine! Thanks for any help.
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] LinkedIn registration errorI have also been receiving this message off and on for the last month. In the beginning, I was able to finally connect. Today, not at all. I have gone through all the suggested troubleshooting tips on the JetPack support site – debugging shows no problem at all. LinkedIn is the only site I can’t connect to. I remain connected to Facebook and Twitter. I have not changed anything at all on my site – no new added plugins, same theme, etc. I’m at a loss.

In reply to: [Parabola] Mobile site doesn't display properlyZed, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I had no idea that the mobile site theme was activated in Jetpack. Deactivating it fixed the problem immediately.
Did I say thank you?…….. 🙂

In reply to: [Parabola] Mobile site doesn't display properlyThanks, Jim, I really appreciate your ideas. I feel as though I am missing something that is right in front of me.
I am a total novice to this stuff.
“someone, far better than me, who knows more about these things”
does not come close to describing me, so I don’t have any idea what the difference between my site and the ones you have worked on may signify 🙁

In reply to: [Parabola] Mobile site doesn't display properlyAh, got it. Well, I think what that demonstrates is that responsiveness, which is enabled, is working. My issues seems to be a bit different. The actual layout of the website changes on a smartphone mobile site version.

In reply to: [Parabola] Mobile site doesn't display properlyHi Jim,
Thanks, but you’ve stumped me! How exactly are you shrinking my page down to the mobile menu in a computer browser?
Just to clarify, (if needed), the mobile site I’m referring to is on cell phones. When i open my site on a cell phone, at the bottom you can toggle between mobile site or full site. The full site displays basically fine, following the settings that I set up. However, when I switch to the mobile site option on my phone, that’s when everything goes screwy (technical term) 🙂

In reply to: [Parabola] Presentation/home pageI’m going to mark this topic as resolved and start a new thread on just the mobile site issue since this thread topic doesn’t really describe that lingering issue.

In reply to: [Parabola] Presentation/home pageThanks for your input Jim 🙂 The state of Confusion now has at least two residents!
Whatever my static front page is set to is what shows up on a mobile device (mobile site), as opposed to the Presentation Page. And I still can’t figure out where the menu items (on the mobile site) come from. Perhaps I’m missing something.
Let’s see if anyone else weighs in about this. It’s not completely resolved yet for me since the mobile site issues remain.

In reply to: [Parabola] Presentation/home pageHi Jim,
I confess to being a bit confused about how Customize integrates with Parabola. If I try to set a static front page via Customize, there is no option to set it as the Presentation page. This appears to be partially related to what is showing up on cell phones.

In reply to: [Parabola] Presentation/home page@jim, thanks. I’ve finally figure out that in Menu settings, “Home” had become unchecked for some reason and needed to be added back in to the menu. So my “Home” tab is back in the menu.
However, I still have the issue with the mobile devices’ landing page (using the mobile site option, not the full site option) going to my posts, beginning with the most recent. And when I click on “Menu” on a mobile device, the menu items do not match up completely with my full site version. In fact, they show pages that I don’t even had set up as being visible in “Menus”.

In reply to: [Parabola] jQuery error messageI think I’ve pretty much decided this is resolved. @thezedt, I saw where you responded to similar inquiries re: Mantra, and since the message is only displaying now for a second or two during/after the page load, I’m figuring there’s nothing wrong. I did deactivate all my plugins and then try loading the settings, and still had the message briefly flash, so I ruled out plug-ins.

In reply to: [Parabola] jQuery error messageThanks, but I wasn’t clear. My question is more about degree. I should have asked “how long does the message have to remain to indicate a problem with the jQuery Library?” Now, it is only lasting for about 2 seconds at the most.
Also, In the event that I need to do something about this, I’m at a loss. I don’t know what the jQuery Library is or how to resolve a problem. Does anyone have experience with this to clue me in on what steps to take? Thanks.
