In reply to: Hyperlink shows in preview but not in final blogHello, I tried to change the theme but that ended in so much chaos (website didn’t work at all), I had to run a backup. I am not an IT Whiz. I can do the basics, but that’s it. I’ll see if I can switch off the plugin, but… What irritates me – the hyperlink seems to be there, as it appeared in the linked Goodreads blog. It just doesn’t show in the browser. Did it show for you when you checked the linked blogpost? (see previous post) I’m starting to wonder if this is a display issue, not something functional.

In reply to: Hyperlink shows in preview but not in final blogOkay, we will try and see if we can switch to a default theme though I KNOW the links were working in the past. This seems to be recent i.e. last few months. Here’s a link to the last blog post (I was told to delete all the others, since the links worked when the blog was a “single page” by my local IT guru. Sadly, that didn’t work either and now I only have this one post left (I have backup if need be).

I use it, I do my updates and post in the blog, but that’s as far as it goes. The theme is Zillah Child as far as I know, but I couldn’t tell you for the life of me whether it uses excerpts instead of actual content?

In reply to: Hyperlink shows in preview but not in final blogHi, thanks for your fast reply. To answer your question, yes, I published the post after viewing the hyperlink. When I checked after publishing I noticed the problem. It appears this happened before, not just with the recent post. I simply didn’t notice. Only hyperlinks in the blog posts are affected as far as I can see. I have a “Buy Now” button on the homepage, for example, and that links correctly to the series page in Amazon. I use the default WordPress editor (I start a New Post and enter content from there.) To make it even more mind-blowing: My blog is linked with my Goodreads page. And THERE the hyperlink hyperlinks…. https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/20146683.Lina_Hansen We tried checking on two different computers with a chrome and a firefox browser – no link.
