    Thank you for the fast response. A way to filter the library to show images that have failed optimisation would definitely be useful.

    I have WebP conversion enabled and, in some instances, the black text and no icon in my media library is just for the WebP version and the original image shows as correctly optimised and in use – would this count as one of the failures given on the optimization page of the plugin? You mention in your response that the images probably failed due to them already being well optimised; it would still be good if WebP versions could be created for these, even if the original files are not further optimised.

    Perhaps as you improve your optimisation, you could enable the resubmission of those images that have failed under older versions of your optimising system.
