I guess Joost didn’t mean to be sarcastic, sometimes others are just being dumb or whatever you call it and simply point the mistake to the plugin author. The problems get more complicated once you have multisite installation.
When you have few plugins turned on, it might possibly affect one or the other. I’d suggest you disable all the plugins and turn them on again one by one to inspect the issue. Try disable all plugin and just activate wordpress SEO and see if there’s any problem. (Like my case, it’s jetpack) I believe Joost has provided us with awesome tools for free and it’s just unfair with these kind of comments. Technically he should be answering the questions but realistically if that’s all he does then we won’t get any update. I think he does provide paid solution if you’re desperate to troubleshoot the problem.
Cheers!
Guys if you have Jetpack installed, I suggest deactivate it and see if the buttons re-appeared in the html editor. I turned off jetpack in favor of google analytics and found out that the buttons are back and working.
Had the same issue as well with these problems. I also noticed if you have meta box in dashboard (mine is jetpack site stats), it doesn’t show too.
@gabriel I was having the same problem, thought something messed up in my wp-admin, so I deactivated all plugin and activated each plugins one by one and with wordpress seo last, I can confirm the version 1.2.8.2 cause the jetpack site-stats did not load, and the html editor in tinyMCE is missing buttons

In reply to: [RSS Image Feed] [Plugin: RSS Image Feed] rss image feed no longer workThanks for your reply, I’ve fixed this issue.
In wordpress rss codex page here http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Feeds
I’ve settled using rdf_url instead of rss2_url or rss_url in the header. The image seems to appear now in mailchimp rss to email newsletter.
Ah, it cleared my confusion now. I thought that by default you have options to choose from the dropdown that list every loaders in
/wp-content/plugins/advanced-ajax-page-loader/loaders/
The folder has few loading gif but unfortunately it doesn’t show in the dropdown.
So I manually create a folder from ftp as you suggest, which is:
/wp-content/uploads/AAPL/loaders/
and upload the loading gif I chose.
And now only the ‘uploaded’ drop down shows the loading gif I just uploaded.
So, basically the loaders you included were not supposed to show up in the uploaded drop down?
But as far as I know the correct path is:
/wp-content/plugins/advanced-ajax-page-loader/loaders/
and just to double check, the permission directory has also been set to 755
Just a suggestion of maybe create a setting page where custom loading gif and element other than ‘content’ are kept upon updating.
why do i keep having 2.4.7 update in my update panel even though I’ve updated it?

In reply to: [WP Bannerize] [Plugin: WP Bannerize] Widget & LanguageI have the same problem too with the widget. I had to hardcoded it in the sidebar and it shows up although I’d prefer more control like what the widget offer.
Please help.
