In reply to: Send an email after completing a postMy memebers are not that tech savvy. I had hoped to create a website where the members would interact with an easy interface and also be noted of any new posts.
Unfortunately, this means I will now need my members to use Google Groups for there posts and my website to view my posts and pictures.
Thanks anyway, I appreciate the support and suggestions.

In reply to: Send an email after completing a postI should have clarified I want to send out a nightly email that provides a link to all the WP posts created for that day.
If this is not possible how do I encourage memebers to look at my WP site to check for new posts.

In reply to: Changes to code do not take efffect imediatelyI have Comcast. When I asked about Caching, the rep had no idea and told me to search the Comcast Forums. However, it seems if I update the file from my web hosting panel the changes are immediate. If I change from the WP admin panel it takes a 1/2 hour for the change (probably due to Comcast’s caching schedule). Anyone know why the difference.
Thanks
LH

In reply to: Ability to enter the “Write Post Page” from the Home PageJust out of curiousity-Why does worepress allow you to comment from the front page, but in order to write a post you must login. I realize I can install the above quickpost, but I thought this functionality would have been part of the core WordPress product.

In reply to: Ability to enter the “Write Post Page” from the Home PageWhen I look at my misc options tab I see “2.0 — 0.41 seconds” for the version. Does this mean I have the wrong version for the functionality I discuss above.
