Thanks, I don’t think that mod is necessary. I don’t mind moving the files to the root directory. I still need part 2 though. =D

I submitted a ticket with my host and I’ll give you more info on mod_rewrite. Although it says it’s enabled on their frontpage. I asked if they allow override.

The site is http://www.punk-news.com, I installed wordpress with an auto-installer. It’s not fantastico, but their own custom installer.
Anyways, I checked my ftp, and there’s no .htaccess file, so I don’t know if it’s writable.
