Hi, I read the two links, it seems to be for a specific plugin Ultimate Member. Is there a way that’s more generic and not for that plugin?

Thanks for all the help! I found the solution. When installing the theme again didn’t work, I tried deactivating all the plugins.

    Solution
I hunted it down and found that the Adhesive (sticky post) plugin was responsible for the problem.

Hope this solution will help other members having a similar problem.

‘Can you please link to your WordPress blog so we can see? 🙂 ‘
    –my site is: http://www.workfromhomephilippines.com

“You said you have your blog set to show two posts at a time when reading and so this is why there are only two results shown on the home page.”
–my mistake, i meant there are only two posts appearing on the Recent Posts Widget.

“Additionally, can you clarify what you mean by ‘view a post from the Edit Posts’ panel? Are you in your Admin panel or is this a feature of the theme itself? “
–It’s from the Admin Panel, I click on Posts> then when I try to view one post, the “Recent Post” widget only shows that single post instead of showing the most recent.

I tried changing the theme to the default Classic and Garland, still the same problem.

    Thanks,
    Oliver
