Thanks for the reply. I somehow forgot to check the add-ons. 🙂
Just to add to this: still, one drawback is that anyone who knows the default login page for WordPress is able to log in or register comfortably because Masteriyo add-on functions only for Masteriyo contact page., which is logical. To close this gap, one simple solution is to rename/hide the default login/register page for WordPress by means of a plugin.
You are welcome. 🙂
Hello Aashil,
No, this is not what I mean. The feature you mention is used, as you say, to comment on the whole course.
What I mean is that students should be able to add their comments/views for individual pages of a course. For example, on your demo website, in the course titled “Photography”, these sentences are already there for Page 1 (https://demo.masteriyo.com/elearning/learn/course/photography/#/course/593/lesson/595):
“First of all, thank you for participating in this course.
Photography for Beginners is for everyone who are willing to set their foot in the path of photography.”With the feature I suggest, the teacher can add this after these two sentences:
“After you watch the video, write down your comments into the Comment section below.”
When a student adds a comment, this comment (and replies to this comment) can be visible at the bottom of this page (and only this page, not other pages). Of course, the course teacher should be able to turn on or off the comment section for each page. We would not like students to leave comments for each page of the course.
One final note: “Photography for Beginners is for everyone who is willing …” is the correct form.
With my best regards.
Thanks a lot.
