In reply to: View on mobile device is way offSo I installed the jetpack and set to mobile and it does give me mobile buttons, etc.
However, I still can’t see the full page (view full site) on one screen. I guess it’s not that I need a mobile version, I just need to be able to view a “miniature” version of the website. When I pull it up on iphone it is scattered.

In reply to: View on mobile device is way offOk, fixed my updating problem. thank you SO MUCH for your help. However, still not viewing properly on mobile device. I am using a responsive theme but seems to not support tables, and a few other things on mobile. Any suggestions?

The person who originally started it is no longer available for contact.
Here is my problem: I am trying to update to the latest version in addition to adding new plug-ins. It is giving me this error message:
ERROR: There was an error connecting to the server, Please verify the settings are correct.
Connection InformationTo perform the requested action, WordPress needs to access your web server. Please enter your FTP credentials to proceed. If you do not remember your credentials, you should contact your web host.
HostnameUnfortunately, I don’t have the host name and am completely at a loss at how to get it. Is this something easily obtained? If so, who, what, where do I ask? Thanks for ANY help you can give me – learning as I go!
