Hello Jump for Joy,

You have to use an ftp client and go to your WordPress install. Go to the folder wpcontent – plugins – qtranslate and find the file qtranslate.php. Change the line mentioned above.

I’m not sure if it works and is necessary in the latest WordPress version (3.7.1.)

Thx for your reply. The problem is solved in the new version (2.5.36) of qtranslate released on august 14 2013. I can just leave the Date format blank.
