In reply to: How do I "find and replace" my database in phpMyAdminI think it’s time then to create some very detailed instructions for people to use. I’d be willing to write them up for others to reference from — that is, once I learn the process myself.

In reply to: [Special Recent Posts] [Plugin: Special Recent Posts] Thumbnail not showingUPDATE: I’ve found that the correct thumb will show if the image on the post was inserted fresh (from computer, not media library). So, maybe it’s some sort of caching problem?
Thank you for the easy instructions and being so on top of the plugin issue.
I’ve changed version 1.6.1 to 1.6.3. But, I’m still not seeing any visual difference between the Gamma theme (now selected) and the Vortex theme (default). I do see differences between the others when activated.
Cheers
There’s a notice that appears in the Plugin’s area about upgrading to Premium 1.6.1 but no link or obvious way to update the plugin. So, is deleted what I had and uploaded the version from your company’s website. Now I get the options in my Calendar Themes. (But, I’m not seeing any visual difference between the Gamma theme (now selected) and the Vortex theme (default).
Yes, 1.6.1 fixed it. (Thanks for the heads-up, Laura.) And, it’s a beautiful, amazing, plugin. (Donation is on the way!)
But, I just noticed that when I upgraded to the premium version (to allow for more calendar themes)the widgets disappeared again. I suppose this premium version needs to get upgraded as well?

In reply to: How can I get posts to not land on Home page?govpatel,
I’m not sure of what your question is. I have page (called articles) which is assigned to a template (called archives.php). In the settings, I’ve selected “articles” as my blog page.

In reply to: [List Pages Shortcode] [Plugin: List Pages Shortcode] page orderWould this be the same as positioning the links in “menu order”. I’m using the plugin “My Page Order” and I need the list to follow that order (not ascending, descending or alpha).

In reply to: [Fast Secure Contact Form] [Plugin: Fast Secure Contact Form] moving fieldsYeah, I can imagine. The drawback is if one creates a very long and complicated form, and then needs to reposition a field, then the only option is to start all over. Unless there’s a work-around?

In reply to: How can I get posts to not land on Home page? The Blog in Blog basically just does what many other category shortcodes do. (Place shortcode on page and it creates a list). But the Blog location still does not change.

In reply to: Activating plugins in multisiteI know that you can activate and deactivate plugins on the individual sites. (I don’t know how to remove them from individual sites.)

In reply to: [WP-dTree] [Plugin: WP-dTree] Wrapping long titles betterWow, you’re just about the rudest asshole on the forum. Yes, you’ve created a very good, important application for WordPress, but then you act like a juvenile rock star. That’s too bad.

In reply to: [WP-dTree] [Plugin: WP-dTree] Wrapping long titles betterI went back 6 pages (2 years ago) into your plugin form (http://wordpress.org/tags/wp-dtree-30/page/6) and only found this (unresolved) post on the matter:
http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-wp-dtree-align-second-line-of-a-long-title?replies=1Since this issue has been discussed so often, is there a search phrase I should try in Google? Or, better yet, a link to the resolved post?
Thank you for your time.

In reply to: styling the Content column widthThanks again for the reply.
The solution you offered is one that I know about. I’m looking for a default solution that would be more of an “if then” situation. In other words, if there is a sidebar then the width of the wide content would be 640px. However, if there is no sidebar, then the wide content would stretch out to 100% of the page (or 960px).I don’t wish to create special styles for every page.
