Grab the file below and replace ‘tiebreakers.php’ in the ‘lib’ folder with this one, it fixes the 0 start number on the positions.

Pagination is on the ‘to-do’ list, in fact the last update included some code to accomplish pagination, but nothing is using it just yet.

No problem with the confusion, of course, now I’m confused, but that’s normal…

Send me an email at lamontef@yahoo.com and we can discuss your ideas.

    Thanks

The permissions problem happened, I think, because I changed a few things in the code to be more consistent with the plugin name. Deactivating and reactivating seems to resolve the issue, one I didn’t anticipate.

As for translations, the problem you’re having is related to another change I made, which was due to an error I was seeing that I think was related to WordPress 3.8.1. I’m working on a resolution to that problem, which will let me fix the heading you’re trying to translate (I changes Won, Loss, and Tie to W, L, and T).

    Hey Enknrio,

Do the two new options show up at all in the window or they just don’t work? I added the code and I can see them in the dropdown, but I obviously don’t have the templates to see if they work.

In the meantime, you can use shortcodes to get the same result:

    [standings league_id=4 template=futbol logo=false]

Are you working with WordPress 3.8.1 or another version?

    Hi Teddy,

Give me some ideas as to what you’re thinking and maybe we can get something to work for you. With the code as is, it’s not possible, but it might be a solid addition.

Thank you Charles. The release ended up with a lot more in it than I wanted to push out at the time, but ended up having to because so many things were connected. It’s mostly code I had fixed or modified for my use with a site I was working on and sat for a number of months while I was off on another project. In a few cases what’s worked for me didn’t work for others and I’m sure two fairly major WordPress revisions haven’t helped matters. Anyway, we’ll work through it, as quickly as possible…

Yeah, that’s a fundamental problem that I’m looking to resolve, but it’s some work that will change things a bit with the overall plugin. There’s a solution in LeagueManager for this, but it’s some code I need to look at when I get through a few issues. I would like to restructure this particular functionality a bit, but I’m not sure what the best solution is at the moment.

The red/yellow card issue is something I’ll have to look into, I think there is something available for that, but I haven’t worked with it (I didn’t write the plugin originally and my personal use was for a basketball site). I’ll get back to you on this.

No, it has to be built.

Hi webmarketingcinque, I’m sorry you’re having issues, hopefully the release I push out today will resolve the problems. There’s a lot of code in LeagueManager that has been changed to update to new versions of WordPress. The issues you are facing with translation shouldn’t have been affected, but I’m thinking that I might have caused your problem by changing some of the headings from Won, Lost, Tied to W, L, T. I had a problem with the headings showing up wrong, so I went with the smaller version. I’ll see if I can get the original problem resolved and put the full option back.

Patrick, the ‘group’ attribute is used if you are using ‘championship’ mode and have more than one group or division. The problem is if you have groups set up and use the widget the groups are combined. The widget code is some that I haven’t touched much (understand that I didn’t develop the plugin originally) and after digging in have found a few issues that needed to be addressed. Unfortunately, in trying to fix a couple of things I caused a few more that I’m working on. I’m going to push out this update shortly.

Charles, I apologize, hopefully the new update will get you back to where you need to be.

A cricket specific sport file will need to be created that will define scoring and specific fields that will be needed for scoring, but yes, it can be customized to work with cricket.

We’ll have to work on a sport file for American Football as it has a variety of unique needs. I am working on an update to fix some bugs and problems that a recent update introduced, but in a few days I should be able to put some time into something.

What versions of WordPress are you all using?

I’m seeing an issue with the widget with 3.8.x that I’m working on. The group setting is something that was added in a number of places throughout the plugin to allow for displaying individual groups on pages. With the widget the setting for the group is accomplished on the widget set up on the admin side, but the file I pushed with the update didn’t include that field unfortunately and causes an issue because the group variable isn’t set, I apologize for that. I’m working on a couple of other issues and will release another update shortly. Please let me know of any other issues you’ve run into.

The 0 position issue had been resolved with the previous version, but a few people said it was causing their positions to start with 2, so I pushed a new version that fixed it, which caused most everyone’s positions to start at 0. I’m resolving it today.

Not yet, but I’m working on it. In the meantime, you can roll your LM install back to 3.8.8.1 if it worked then.

Are you working with WordPress 3.8.1? If not, what version?

I’ll be in touch soon. Thanks
