Thank you for reaching out and for sharing the message you’re seeing — we understand how this can be confusing.To clarify, the free (Standard) version of Media Hygiene does not support Elementor Pro. When Elementor Pro is detected, the free version is unable to scan for unused images associated with it, which is why you are seeing the notice asking you to upgrade.
If you’ve seen any place on our website stating that the free version supports Elementor Pro, please let us know exactly where that is mentioned. We would appreciate you pointing it out so we can take note of it and correct the information if needed.
Regarding the Elementor Pro version limitation (up to v3.15.1): this applies to both the free and Pro versions of Media Hygiene, as newer Elementor Pro versions have introduced internal changes that affect how media usage can be detected. Upgrading to the Pro version enables scanning for supported builders and plugins (including Elementor Pro within the supported versions), but it does not bypass Elementor’s version compatibility limit.

if the plugin is on the wordpress repo or paid one from a platform, replace with original file and any malicious code will be gone. Make sure to keep updated your site with latest theme and plugins and remove inactive plugins.

In reply to: [Image Alt Text] Plugin Inquiry – Auto-Add Alt Text from Image TitleHi @kasumiyunalesca , Currently there is no pro version of the plugin. Its all available in free. Once you install the free version. It will give you two list of images 1 ) Image with Alt Text and 2) Images without Alt Text. There is a button “Bulk Alt Text” to do bulk add of alt text to the images from the file name.
