Temporary fix that worked for me:
In advanced tab > attributes, add some text (with no spaces) on image-alt and image-title)
@yourownprogrammer in my case the issue occurs when limiting numbers of votes, if instead of limiting, i use block feature, then poll appears correctly after refreshing or going back to page. The problem I´m finding, is that the Blok feature does not permit to limit the vote for registered users

by now I had to erase the plugin via ftp, because made the back end crash.
Once eliminated, everything worked ok in the back-end.
