i can say this is the only script that shows me safe_mode ON.

safe mode ist turned OFFphpinfo() tells me:
safe_mode Off Off
(on local and master value)but the wp super cache plugin still tells me the server had save mode ON.

apt-get install php4-gdlooks to me like i had an incompatible lib or wrong config on the server before
