In reply to: Problems with $wp_rewriteHi @t-p
Thanks for your quick reply.
It’s a custom made shop plugin – but we’ve narrowed it down to the function I posted above. It’s really hard to understamd what they’re thinking. Especially when they don’t work there anymore.

In reply to: “Global” post templateA couple of links that I think will help…
Hi Steve,
Thanks for your quick reply.
Actually, my brain started working right after I posted my question.
Of course a plugin shouldn’t interfere with the theme files – unless it’s a theme-specific plugin, which this is not.I’m gonna make some shortcodes that displays my content in different ways – that way the user can decide for themselves where they want to use it, and which style the content should have.
I will create a theme later – where my plugin will be built in the theme instead.
Again, thanks a lot for the quick reply π
Case solved…Best regards

Well, then I can’t help you, unfortunately.
I have no insight in the plugin what so ever.
I’ve found the same page in the coodex, as you mention above – but no further explenation.I hope you find a fix π
Best regards

In reply to: RedirectHi @rik0399,
Yeah, debugging/troubleshooting can take time – I know if from bitter experience π
Okay, now that we know the site- and home-url are as they should be, lets proceed.Have you tried renaming your .htaccess file? (before you do this, please take a backup first)
I’m sure we’ll figure this one out π
Best regards

In reply to: has_cap was called with an argument…Hmm, instead of starting to change the code by yourself, I would suggest using a new and maintained plugin like User Role Editor
I’ve used it quite some times, itΒ΄s easy, flexible and gets the job done π
Best regards

In reply to: RedirectHmm, sounds really weird.
Okay, now I’m gonna ask something that is WAY out there – but it can affect it all!
In your database, in the wp_options-table, under Site URL and home URL – what does it say there???It should be your websites URL.
I know it’s a long shot, but it’s worth a check in my opinion.Best regards

Could you please paste line 205 from the functions file?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: RedirectIf you have access to your FTP – could you please rename your plugins-folder to: ex. “pluginsOLD” just to see if it’s a plugin that causes the error.
Furthermore, have you checked the error-log and enabled wp_debug?
Best regards

In reply to: RedirectWow, okay!
I would never have guessed an issue like that.
But I’m glad you made it work again! πPlease let me know if anything comes up regarding the debugging.

In reply to: RedirectOkay, sounds weird.
Can I ask you to check your error-logs – and enable wp_debug? (https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress)And if there’s anything in the debug/error-log, please paste it here.
I see some people having this issue while having Jetpack installed – but it is not confirmed though.Best regards

In reply to: Issue with php version of WPHi @mon33x,
Well, if you have access to PHP-versions when you log in on your hosts website, you should be able to do it. But I would not recommend doing this if you’re not 100% sure on what’s going to happen.
I highly doubt that you have this access – but some hosting providers allow their users to control this by themselves.
Are they hard to get hold on?
Hosting providers are usually quite fast to reply when it’s an urgent matter.Best regards
