Don’t worry, plugin cares about. If they are members, they have usernames. Using “forgot password” should show them both username and password. Test please.
My suggestion was wrong… Can not say why not works in sandbox. I would try to find a good hook in s2M’s code to handle the text of this email.

Never tested, may works.
Try to use [s2If] conditions in mail body, it may work. In this case set need text by levels, using conditions.
If this not works, it will need custom works. Still needs to check if it will be possible…

Right now you have all your old members in the list, but not in the site, right? Click the “Check synchronization” button. This will give you message like “NNN members stay in ZZZ email list, which are not in your site”. You may see it after installation too. And next to it will be “Synch it” button. It imports info from MC to WP. Means, creates accounts, which is missing in WP/s2M, with username and password depending of your settings, and synchronizes all the mapped info. So you will have all the accounts moved to the site, and need info saved too. Note, that this is a slow job for MC, you may get timeout, so may need to wait an hour and then repeat, until all the members are copyed.
Again, think accordingly, not an easy matter, so if your case is not “old list, new site”, think again and find the best way…

Thanks for your purchase. I try to prepare a video tutorial, but not ready yet… Generally, read all the Admin page of my plugin and set what you need. For “fresh” sites nothing more needs, plugin cares about synchronization.
Tricky part is with old sites with existing users. Before installation of the plugin you should clean your MC list(s). Mean, to ensure there stay only the emails you need in your site. Then you install and set the plugin. Now, depends of your needs (to import info from MC to WP, as you describe), do a manual synch “MC to WP”, use “Synch it” keys. Think accordingly, not an easy matter…
To map you need to have a merge tag in MC list, and a field (system or custom) in WP/s2M. So create these first. Then go to plugin’s admin page and map them, plugin will find existing merges in MC and fields in your site. And plugin will cares about synchronization, since that.

Oh… Sorry, misunderstood you. That needs PHP, must be done by hooks in the s2M code.
