    Minor correction to previous post:
    – customize font style/colour

    Should read as:
    – customize font style/colour/size

I don’t think the preview ever worked for me. I’m not sure what kind of a server I’m on – my blog is setup/maintained/hosted by CMD. And they don’t provide a “staging” site/blog either so everything I’m doing is on my live site/blog. I’ll find out from them though, although I did mention this to them a while back and they pointed to WP for the issue/resolution. I’ve been managing without this feature but now that I’m having to look for a different theme altogether, I kinda need this feature to work. Cause the free WP account doesn’t appear to work the same way and offer different themes (less I think).

Forgot to add, private posts don’t work either – shows similar error as previewing a draft.

Sorry…one more question I think…I followed your advise to set up a test site and deactivated/removed the maintenance mode plug in. However, preview still does not work. By this I mean, previewing a theme (shows me current content/theme) and previewing a draft (shows error saying sorry no post found). Is this installation-related? Thanks!

Yes okay, good point. Thanks again!

Sorry, one more question from previous post…

Lastly, in trying to work on this issue and turning on the Maintenance Mode plugin, I’m unable to access my blog and view the changes. Much like I can’t preview drafts and view private posts. Is this a problem with my blog admin user itself or its installation?

Oh no! Find another theme eh? Hmm…Okay, thanks for the help.

I don’t want a page with a link on it. I want just a link to another site.

Here’s a link to my blog:
    http://photography.kristindecastro.com/blog

At the top where it shows “Home”, “About”…Those came by default. I was forced to add “Main” as a page but what I really want is a text link to a URL. Not sure how I can do that?

    Thanks!

Definitely not blog roll, so I guess I mean list of pages?

I want it to show up at the top of the page – I believe it’s the header portion for the Elegant Grunge, where the links “Home” and “About” are shown.

So would I use the links widget for that? I thought that would either put it on the sidebar or footer, instead of the top/header.

Sorry completely new to this. Any help would be much appreciated!
