The plugin does not have a minimum limit. Most probably its wordpress adding paragpraphs on line breaks next to the slides therefore adding a blank <p> slide. You can check this by viewing the source of the web page.You can try adding this to functions.php

Thanks for using cyclone slider. Please be advised that the slider does not delete images. When you delete a slide in cyclone’s admin settings it just un-assigns it from the slideshow. This is a safe-guard mechanism in case you are using the image somewhere else in wordpress.
Anyways, looking at the link you provided, it appears that the browser is having a problem loading all your images at once just from the sheer size and numbers of the photos. Each photo is around 100-500+ KB in size.
Sorry, but currently cyclone does not have a solution for this but will surely be addressed in the next version.
For now you can optimized the photos to lower their file size. Or limit the number of photos displayed.

Thanks for trying out Cyclone. Do you have a link to your site? The title and description are placed on top of the images so its unlikely that it gets squeezed out. Regarding the sizing of images, i suggest you resize it to the exact width and height that you are planning to use it for optimal quality. The slider resizes the image on the browser side only. Are you using the default template?

No additional steps are needed to run cyclone slider. Do you have a link to your site? Try to check if there are javascript errors. Thats the most common cause of the problem.

You have an error in your javascript coming from another plugin you have installed, sfw-ipwd.js (spam free wordpress). Try removing that script. Once javascript errors are cleared cyclone should play.
