no I said that this error in the console was/is only on my computer and is UNrelated to the issue. The people that have issue, don’t have any errors in the console.

The problem arises with any number of attributes. There is no set number of attributes. I would say that average is 7-9 attributes (but it also happened when we had 3-4 attributes), so I can’t really say whether it’s a high number or low number. Also, only 2 or 3 products on the entire web shop have variations, everything else is simple product.

As a rule of thumb it happens while editing a product, no matter the age (1day, 1 year or 10 years). I am not aware of it happening ever while adding product for the first time.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Product attributes randomly removed when saving in adminUPDATE: Team just found out that if they delete all attributes, THEN UPDATE the product, THEN add all the attributes and then press UPDATE product (not Save Attributes) it doesn’t delete them.
Just a thought: maybe there is some conflict in classNames or IDs when adding new attributes on top of already existing attributes, especially when it’s a mix of general attributes (the ones that have their archive page and can be selected from the dropdown while editing product), and special attributes (the ones that are purely textual, not selected from dropdown and can’t have their own archive page).

Cloned everything using WP Staging Pro. Once done I’ve deleted all the plugins and themes, only WooCommerce and Storefront were left. But colleagues reported attributes still missing.
What is the next step?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Product attributes randomly removed when saving in adminHey @lovingbro , thanks for your awesome patience. So we’ve created staging enviroment just for this issue so we can have 100% clear idea on what’s happening, nothing will be done here except product editing.
We removed everything from installation, we left only Storefront and WooCommerce, nothing else.Our team will start editing products pretty soon and I’ll probably have some info tomorrow.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Product attributes randomly removed when saving in adminOk, so we have more updates. The attributes are still disappearing (even with changes). There are no errors in console prior to the event (this sounds like Doomsday ahhaha) or after the event. Everything is “clean.”
Not everyone has problem at the same time. It’s completely random. E.g. some colleagues were working yesterday (3 people) 2 had problem while 1 had no problem AT ALL, until later. When the 2 went home, the 1 stayed late and then they had a problem (same computer, same person, same browser, same day).
When we add new product no problem at all, but editing the old seems to trigger the issue.
If you need me to provide with some additional tech spec, I am all for it. I would suggest you try it for yourself, but the problem is I don’t have any steps to replicate, if I did the problem would be 80% solved :D.

The behaviour started around 1, 1.5 year ago, and then it really really “slowed” down, like rarely something happened. But since we started this “action” of updating products daily, we notice it every day on 80-90% of products we try.

I pasted this snippet in wp-sight-search. And I am trying to change labels, Baths and Beds, which means only the names. And as I mentioned above, I could achieve to change everything but beds and baths in general.php.
