I also had this problem with my site http://www.fogelberg.com. I did some detective work and found the problem, for me at least.
It was a Gzip conflict with the plugin Pagespeed Ninja. Go to settings in Pagespeed Ninja and then click the Advanced tab. Under Enable compression, deselect Gzip compression. Then clear the cache.
It seems to work so far, both for mobile and desktop. Hope that helped.
