I didn’t find the ID in the feed because I had selected the “include product variation” toggle. So the parent item ID was not in the feed, instead only its variations were.

Sure, here it is.
Hey @jamesosborne,
One question, when using the google site kit plug-in to integrate google analytics with woocommerce. When you connect it and turn on the enhanced e-commerce, the events – product view, add to cart, initiated check out, transactions, should be reported/shown in google analytics by default? Or do you need to do some developer work?
Because with Shopify everything worked by itself.
Hye @jamesosborne,
Thanks for helping as much as you can. The thing is that I’ve checked everything you mentioned above. I just thought that maybe I’ve missed something, but it seems I didn’t. The thing that irritates me the most is that everything seems to be working, but it’s not…
I guess I’ll have to contact google expert support, again.
Hi @jamesosborne,
I’m not looking at the data in the Site Kit, I’m looking at it in Google Analytics. Woocommerce shows an order, but in the GA there is none. 0 transactions in the conversion > overview dashboard.
Under the shopping behavior, it also shows 1 session with the product views, yet under behavior > site content > all pages I can see different users viewed different products.I already contacted the so-called “product experts”, and received little help. That’s why I decided to post here.
This is not my first time connecting different platforms, but it is the first time I’m experiencing this problem…
